kidnap draft 1

This was our first draft of two different kidnapping scenes, we decided that this is just a fighting scene and we needed to have more cuts in the scene and less fighting.

Kidnap Draft 2

This was the second of our two drafts of the Kidnap scene,after our first attempt we realised that in order to make our film look as professional as possible we would have to use a variety of camera shots and angles. When doing this scene we also identified that having a single long struggle was not very effective as it would be difficult to get actors into the same positions when moving the camera. We therefore tried to make it interesting but simple to film and believe we manage to accomplish this effectively.

Saturday 15/01/2011 6pm: Atlantis restaurant (Romantic dinner between Jamie and Alessandra, will require minimum of one other person to film the scene preferably two)

Sunday 16/01/2011 3pm: Chris' house (Kidnapping scene with Chris, Sean and CeeCee will require 1-2 people to direct and film) followed by (Filming the phone call and conversation between David and Jamie, with Alessandra in the background and CeeCee, Chris and David in the background)

Mon-Fri 17-23/01/2011: Outside School (Getting out of the car and throwing girl into the car as she is being kidnapped on any quiet road)

Casting Information

Jack Lawson - Jamie Del Mundo

(he's a counter-stereotype for the role of a drug-lord etc. He will be dressed in a smart suit, preferably a black dinner jacket and trousers as he is out to dinner in the scene being filmed)

Billy Bradshaw - Sean Plummer

(Built like a thug generally would be expected to be. He will be dressed in a tracksuit and we may try to do a fake tattoo on the right forearm.)

Mickey Dan - Chris Gwillim

(Tall, juxtaposition to Sean's character, the two opposites work in unison. Will be dressed smartly, sleeves rolled up and trousers ironed etc.)

"One-eye" Coates - David Coates

(smaller then the other two, business man type, uses brain not brawn not a foot soldier. Will be dressed up smartly with a cane and suit with tie.)

Mistress - Alessandra Brown

(is very attractive which is the type of femme fatale would be expected to appear in a thriller. She will be dressed nicely in a dress with make-up etc.)

Wife - Cee Cee

(She is a talented actress who is attractive but older then Alessandra which would follow the plot of the protagonist wanting a younger woman who is also beautiful.)
